Participants in the Peace March “Sarajevo-Nezuk-Potočari” gathered

13643972_1227153907335563_999782801_nParticipants in the Peace March “Sarajevo-Nezuk-Potočari” gathered in Nezuk yesterday around 5 pm, and nearly a thousand participants in this traditional march are preparing for the official march towards Potočari, stated one of the organizers, Muhamed Papić.

The Peace March started from Sarajevo on July 3 and, according to Papić, there were no injuries among the participants so far. Around one thousand people are currently participating in the Peace March.

“We are aware of the kind of March this is, and we pay attention to all segments on the way. Participants are currently in camps where they are resting and preparing for tomorrow’s continuation of the march towards Potočari,” Papić said yesterday.

Papić added that another 14 participants from Sarajevo who could not make it to the march earlier will join them today, together with 20 members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton and the members of the Mountain Rescue Service Sarajevo.

When they arrive to Potočari, at the entrance to the Memorial Center Potočari the participants of the Peace March will meet with 250 participants of the cycling marathon “Bihać-Potočari 2016”, 23 participants of the “Supermarathon Bihać-Potočari 2016”, 500 motorcyclists from Sarajevo, five ultra-marathoners from Vukovar, participants of the Peace March Žepa-Potočari, 20 runners from Goražde and many other people.
