Davor Pehar has resigned from the position of director of the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, is confirmed for BHRT the Assistant Minister of Public Health of the FBiH Goran Cerkez.

The reasons given in the resignation are, among other things, “disagreement with the policy of procurement of vaccines”, ie due to the pressure related to the direct procurement of vaccines, as well as the fact that the number of vaccines is not enough.

In the previous period, there were many disagreements between the Institute and the FBiH Government.

The FBiH government has often accused the director of Pehar and claims that he “delayed signing” certain documents. Pehar responded that he complied with the law and acted accordingly, BHRT writes.
