Ambassador of Israel to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Galit Peleg, again criticized the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, in an interview, to which he quickly responded.
She asked him whose side he was on in the conflict between Israel and Hamas, saying that the Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo, spoke about the crimes in Israel “as a human being”, “while the other side is not close to a human being”.
“I will give just an example of the footage of a tourist who filmed three-year-old children. They put them in cages like chickens and you see these children crying and trying to get out of these cages and the terrorists are laughing at them. We didn’t see that even in the holocaust. I can’t understand why. I can imagine that they want to kill the soldiers, to fight them, but no, they came to kill and torture Israeli toddlers two to three years old. Or one of the hostages, a six-month-old baby. A six-month-old baby was taken as a hostage…,” said Ambassador Peleg.
In a thorough analysis by the French state media France24, in which they refer to the research of the “FakeReporter.net” portal, it was determined that the first video with children in a cage was published before the latest attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7th.
Komsic soon replied to the Ambassador saying that since she does not consider him a human being, he considers it necessary to reply to her one more time.
Moreover, he said that he is always on the side of the truth, no matter how bitter and black it is, because he believes that only the truth is healing for the human mind.
“Since you finally asked what I think about the Hamas attack on civilians in Israel, my opinion is that it is a terrorist attack, which, therefore, classifies Hamas as a terrorist organization. No one even normal can justify killing civilians and taking civilians hostage, as Hamas did. But I already said that in a statement I said in an interview with BHT, which you neither watched nor listened to,” said Komsic.
Komsic added that doing evil to others and justifying doing evil with another evil that was done to us is called revenge.
“Revenge leads nowhere, it only leads to the commission of even greater evil. And I am sure, at least when you are alone, that you also think that your country has done great harm to the people of Palestine. If you think that by wiping Gaza off the face of the Earth, you will solve the problem of terrorism that plagues Israel and the Jews as a nation, you are terribly mistaken,” Komsic emphasized.
Furthermore, he told her not to teach people in BiH lessons about murdered children and murdered civilians.
“Unfortunately, there are too many of us in BiH whose children and civilian family members have been murdered,” said Komsic.
Moreover, he criticized her support for certain political forces in BiH, which he accused of celebrating the ideology of the perpetrators of the Holocaust.
“Since you have decided to take political sides in BiH, I must tell you that you have taken the side of those who celebrate the politics and ideology of the perpetrators of the Holocaust in this region, which disqualifies you as an ambassador,” he stated.
He also accused her of downplaying the Holocaust.
“Don’t downplay the Holocaust by comparing it to the terrorism of Hamas, claiming that nothing like that was seen in the Holocaust either. I know that there were far worse things in the Holocaust than the terrorism of Hamas,” Komsic emphasized.
“Lastly, for now, I wish your people peace as I wish it for the Palestinians. I hope that you and your Palestinian neighbors will live peacefully in the future and cooperate as two peaceful and prosperous states. I am afraid that, if it is not the case, the misfortune and evil of war can even affect the whole world,” Komsic concluded, Klix.ba reports.
