dzekoManchester City’s coach, Manuel Pellegrini, praised the captain of B&H national football team, Edin Džeko, who is completing his transfer to the Italian Roma in the upcoming days.

After four years at the Etihad, Džeko is going to Rome and Pellegrini believes that B&H national team player has contributed to successes of Manchester City in the recent years.

“He won two titles here and he was a very good player. I think that a team should change some players every year, and Edin was here for 4 years. That was enough for him. He needs a change. I really appreciate a lot everything that he did for the club because we won 2 trophies together, “said Pellegrini.

He added that it was the right time for both player and the club to split up and go by their own ways. He strongly believes that Džeko will achieve great success in Rome.

“Džeko will be a very important player for Roma and will have a successful season. I wish him all the best,” concluded Pellegrini.
