By the decision of the Directorate for Religious Affairs of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stalls were put in all mosques all over Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora, after the Friday prayer, where people could donate money for Sandzak, where the situation has significantly worsened due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In the last 24 hours in the General Hospital in Novi Pazar, 5 more people died from the consequences caused by the coronavirus, and currently one patient is on a respirator, Avaz news portal reports.
As announced by the coordinator of the General Hospital in Novi Pazar, Mirsad Đerlek, 10 more respirators are arriving in Novi Pazar, so that the General Hospital will now have 28 of these devices, as well as that a military hospital will be formed next to the Internal Medicine Block.
“As of today, we are becoming a regional covid hospital and we will also receive patients from Sjenica, because the situation in Užice is difficult. It is a difficult task, we do not have enough staff, health workers are too tired, but I was happy with the information that a military hospital with 150 beds, 15 military doctors, infectologists and pulmonologists and 25 technicians, with their equipment, will be formed,” said Djerlek.
