posjeta br?komThe Head of the EU Delegation and Special Representative of the EU to BiH Peter Sorensen and the Ambassadors of 18 European countries were on a working visit to Brčko yesterday, where they spoke with the heads of the executive and legislative authorities of the current events in the local community since the declaration of supervision.

The Mayor of Brčko Anto Domić spoke to guests after the meeting with the delegation of the activities of the government after its formation and future priorities.

“Our most important priorities are the fight against corruption and crime and reform of public administration, and all for the goal of better conditions for investment in this area’’, said Mayor Domić.

During the meeting with the heads of the government, guests were interested as to how the District functions, what is the current economic situation and relations with entities, and how the position of the District would change after Croatia enters the EU.

“This is one of our regular visits that, apart from discussions with the Brčko District government, implies meetings with the business community and nonprofit sector in order to become familiar with the situation in Brčko and how we could lend all possible forms of assistance on the path to EU integration’’, said Peter Sorensen.

After the meeting with representatives of the executive and legislative branches of the Brčko District, the ambassadors of EU countries visited the public company “Luka Brčko” where they spoke with the management of this company.
