12825179_1125063584211263_1324311030_nOn the occasion of media reports on the alleged difficult situation in the Public Institution Pharmacies Sarajevo and the presentation of unverified and false information about the work of the Board, the Managing Director and the management of the Institution, as well as the concerns of employees for their own existence, Pharmacies Sarajevo stated that there are enough medicines in all branches.

On the occasion of media reports on the alleged difficult situation in JU Pharmacies Sarajevo, and the presentation of unverified and false information about the work of the Board, Managing Director and the management of the Foundation, as well as the concerns of employees for their own existence, from JU Pharmacies Sarajevo say that in all branches have enough medicines.

Pharmacies Sarajevo ended the business year 2015 with net profit of 180.426 BAM, which is confirmed by the report of the independent external auditor and all official documents submitted within the annual balance. In 2015, the operating income was by 4.4 percent higher than in previous year.

Wages and all fees for employees have been paid every first day in a month, in majority of cases on the last working day for the current month. In accordance with legal regulation, all taxes and pension and health insurance were also calculated and paid, in addition to gross wages paid.

Through the application of the Regulations on job performance appraisals in 2015, 140-000 BAM of financial stimulations have been paid to the employees, from the budget of the Pharmacies Sarajevo.

Liabilities of Pharmacies Sarajevo towards the public budgets in 2015 amounted to circa 6 million BAM, through the paid VAT, fees and taxes, membership fees, and the like.

“In the past three months, the Public Institution Pharmacies Sarajevo has been a subject of complete control by the Indirect Taxation Authority for the period from 2012 until 2015. They have confirmed the regularity in business. The Tax Administration also conducted a control, which resulted in the same conclusion for the mentioned period,” it was stated from Pharmacies Sarajevo.
