Photo Contest “Ramadan in Sarajevo” opened

ramadanWithin the 2nd Sarajevo Ramadan Festival – Festival of Islamic culture, art and beautiful traditions, which will last from the 17th of June to the 17th of July, a photo contest “Ramadan in Sarajevo,” will be opened starting from the 20th of June.

All interested can upload their photos on the topic “Ramadan in Sarajevo” on the social network Instagram, using the hashtag #SarajevoRamazan.

In the finals of the competition, which will last until the end of this year’s month of Ramadan, will enter participants whose photographs collect the most likes by fans. Later on, the jury, made up of members of the Directorate of Sarajevo Ramadan Festival, will select the winning photo among the finalists.

The winner will be announced on the first day of this years Eid, on Friday the 17th of July, while on Sunday the 19th of July, the third day of Eid, collages with photos of all the finalists of the photo contest “Ramadan in Sarajevo” will be exhibited in the gallery on the Yellow Bastion in Sarajevo.

The winner of the contest will be awarded with a cash prize of 500 BAM, while the other finalists will receive consolation rewards by the sponsors of Sarajevo Ramadan Festival.

Sarajevo Ramadan Festival was created by Sarajevo Navigator Foundation and Zone improved business (LAP) Baščaršija, aiming to complete the tourist offer of Sarajevo.
