Photographer Boris Trogrančić captured the stunning scenes of the Bosnian village of Krupa on Vrbas.
It is about 20 kilometers from Banja Luka. In addition to the fact that the bridges, houses and nature are reminiscent of a bygone era, in this village you can buy freshly ground flour at mills by the river.
There are benches along the river, and there is a spring nearby. It can be reached by a path.
Near the Krupa waterfalls there is also a monastery from the 13th century. In addition to flour, you can buy buckwheat nibbles and homemade cream here.
There is also a restaurant with a pond.
There are also water mills on the falls that were built about 200 years ago and were used by the local residents to make a living. Watermills still work on the same principle today.
The village of Krupa was inhabited as early as the Middle Ages. The remains of the old town, monastery and necropolis with stećci have been preserved to this day.
Although it was once only a local picnic spot, in the last few years Krupa na Vrbas has become recognized as a real tourist destination, which is confirmed by the growing interest of visitors who come to this small town, Klix.ba writes.
