Pjanic: I am ready to be the New Leader of Juventus

600_1473676854pjanic01BH national team player Miralem Pjanic is imposing as a main player of Juventus. Italian Tuttosport referred to him as “the new leader.”

“I came in Turin because I love challenges. I can play in any position in midfield, and it was definitely nice to play at the position “ten” against Atalanta. I played more short passing game at Roma, but Juventus likes to play directly with more vertical balls. It still takes some adjustment, but I’m getting better each week. My team is helping me as well, which of course is great and plays very well in the domestic league and the Champions League. Juventus will be even better because there is a lot of new players and we are still searching for ourselves a bit,“ said Pjanic to Tuttosport.

He also discussed some critics on his game.

“I heard the criticism, although I do not need to hear it in order to know if I played good or bad. I know what I can, but I want more than that. There are great expectations in Juventus, but I am happy in this environment. Critics come and go, it’s all part of football,” said Pjanic.

He is ready, he says, to be the new leader of Juventus and he wants to accept this responsibility.
