A plane from Abu Dhabi of Gainjet Aviation SA landed around 6 pm on Friday without passengers at Sarajevo International Airport for the return of a national of the United Arab Emirates, Klix.ba news portal reports.

Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina has given its consent for the temporary opening of the border crossing point at air traffic at Sarajevo International Airport. Reason: the return of one UAE national to the home country.

Security Minister Fahrudin Radoncic said on Thursday that foreign nationals who are in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the pandemic of the coronavirus would be allowed to evacuate to their home countries via Sarajevo International Airport, while no return would be allowed to Bosnians.

On Thursday, the return to Bosnia and Herzegovina of 27 BiH citizens who are in the Netherlands, was prevented.
