Plenum of Mostar Submitted to the Representatives of Herzegovina – Neretva Canton Assembly the Petition for Dismissal of Government

peticija_mostarRepresentatives of the Mostar Plenum submitted today a petition with defined conclusions to the representatives of Herzegovina -Neretva Canton (HNC) Assembly.

3.685 citizens signed the petition, requiring the dismissal of the HNC government due to long term irresponsibility and lack of functionality in the field of health and education, the abolition of benefits of politicians and harmonization of their salaries with the average workers wage, adoption of the law on social protection, protection of civilian war victims and families with children in the area of HNC, the official report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of HNC on protests in Mostar and activities that are undertaken, their assessment of the security situation in the canton and the names of those who were taken in for investigations.

Muasir Penava, a representative of Mostar Plenum took over the petition to forward it to the bodies of the Assembly.

On behalf of the Plenum Sanja Cabela asked the competent representatives of the Assembly to reflect on the petition in the next ten days, and she pointed out that they do not seek any negotiations, but the implementation of requirements.
