Catherine Ashton Visited Vijećnica and Walked in Baščaršija

ASHTON OBIŠLA VIJEÆNICU I PROŠETALA BAŠÈARŠIJOMHigh Representative of EU for Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, who is on an official visit to B&H, visited Vijećnica today to get informed of the phase of the construction works of this national monument of B&H.

Ashton walked in Baščaršija after she visited Vijećnica, and tried Sarajevo ćevapi in one of the restaurants.

Ashton started her official visit in B&H this morning when she met with the members of the B&H Presidency in Sarajevo.

During the day, she will have meetings with leaders of B&H institutions and representatives of civil society. She will discuss with them the situation in the country ahead of the discussion that she will have with the members states in the upcoming weeks.
