Vučić about Incident sandzakpress.netSerbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić asked the President of the RS Milorad Dodik to once again reconsider the decision to call a referendum on the Prosecutor’s Office and the Court of B&H, reported Tanjug.

“Although I did not ask that question openly, it is about a sovereign decision of the Republic of Srpska, I kindly asked in the name of Serbia to reconsider the decision just one more time. I am thankful that he respects that view of Serbia, for which at this moment I believe is complete, comprehensive, and serious”, said Vučić at a press-conference in Belgrade after the meeting with Dodik.

He added that, if Dodik asks for it, he is ready to “assist in presenting additional arguments that would contribute to an easier overview of the overall situation.”

“Serbia did never and in no way interfere in the internal affairs of B&H, as well as in the internal political issues in the RS. But now I’m, on my initiative, grateful to Dodik for accepting this kind of discussion. The final decision, however, is on the RS”, said Vučić.

Dodik said that he asks for nothing but understanding from Serbia.

“Never did Serbia ask for anything from the RS, it did not interfere and it respects the Dayton agreement. I expect nothing from Serbia but understanding and support for the Dayton agreement”, Dodik stressed.

He reiterated that the Dayton Agreement does not stipulate the existence of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Court of B&H, adding that these institutions are under the direct influence of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and Bakir Izetbegović.
