Members of the MUP of the Sarajevo Canton arrested last night Luka Čokara from Sarajevo, who robbed the pastor of the Church of St. Peter and Paul in Kakanj at 9:00 p.m. on September 2, threatening with  knife.

“On September 29, 2023, at 9:25 p.m., the police officers of the PU Novo Sarajevo deprived of liberty the person L. Č. from Kakanj, who was wanted by the MUP of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, due to the Criminal Code under Article 289 “FBiH CC (Robbery), from an earlier period. After the deprivation of liberty, the person deprived of liberty was handed over to the police officers of the Police Station Zenica,” the KS MUP announced.

As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ZDK on that occasion, the executor stole a certain amount of money and gold jewelry-ducats from the pastor, threatening him with a knife.

We remind you that immediately after the investigation, extensive activities were launched to shed light on this criminal act, and members of the Criminal Police Department of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Zenica Doboj Canton, in cooperation with the officers of the Kakanj Police Station, undertook a series of operational measures and actions aimed at identifying the perpetrator and depriving him of his liberty, Klix.ba reports.
