The police search for the seventeen-year-old student of the Medical School in Bihać (I.M.) who went missing on Friday is still ongoing. This was confirmed by the Police Administration of the Una-Sana Canton (USK), and it was pointed out that daily work and searches are carried out in the field.

”The diving team of the Specialist Support Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other police teams have been engaged for days. They are searching the riverbed of the Una, the coastal area, but also collecting all other information that could help in finding the missing minor. For now, unfortunately, we do not have new details, but we are not giving up,” said police inspector Adnan Beganović.

The search for the 17-year-old student has been ongoing since Friday, when police teams found his clothes and mobile phone in the same place after receiving a report that a person was trying to jump from the bridge.

Members of the Mountain Rescue Service, residents of the settlement along the Una, as well as numerous citizens of Bihać, and friends of the missing man’s family joined the search. Photos of the missing young man appeared on the city streets, while local media are also trying to help in the search.
