A large amount of weapons and mines and explosives were found in a devastated abandoned house in Gornji Kalimanići near Sokolac, the East Sarajevo Police Department announced.
In the “Caliber 2023” police operation, 15 pieces of different hand grenades, four rifles, 461 pieces of bullets of different calibers, as well as several frames and optical sights were found, which were handed over to the Republican Administration of Civil Protection of Republika Srpska.
The prosecutor of the East Sarajevo District Public Prosecutor’s Office was informed about everything.
Work is underway to shed light on the criminal offense of illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials.
