Police found Lifeless Body of a Person who fell in Miljacka River

The body of a person who fell into the Miljacka River was recovered near the Ars Aevi Bridge in Sarajevo this morning.

“At around 10:15 a.m., the Novo Sarajevo Police Department received information that a body had been spotted in the Miljacka Riverbed. Police, ambulance and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene,” the Cantonal Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.

After the body was recovered, at 10:30 a.m., the ambulance doctor declared the woman dead.

“The prosecutor on duty at the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office was notified and will lead the on-site investigation,” the Cantonal Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
