Police found Significant Amount of Weapons in Srebrenica

Members of the Srebrenica Police Station and the Skelani Police Department found and seized illegal military weapons and ammunition from a person from Srebrenica whose initials are M.J, the Zvornik Police Department announced.

Through operational work in the field, the police came to know that this person possesses a certain amount of weapons and ammunition, which were found yesterday during a search of his house and auxiliary buildings.

A hunting carbine and rifle, an automatic and semi-automatic rifle, 125 bullets of different calibers, a weapon certificate and hunting membership cards were found and temporarily confiscated.

The search was carried out based on the order of the Basic Court of Srebrenica, with the prior consent of the prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bijeljina.

Against the face of M.J. followed by the submission of a report to the competent prosecutor’s office on the committed criminal offense characterized as illegal production and trafficking of weapons or explosive substances.
