Police in Republika Srpska to Increase Salaries to Policemen?

The Republika Srpska (RS) government today adopted a proposal by the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs to increase the remuneration for working conditions of police officers with secondary and higher education.

An increase of 10 percent is proposed, and the calculation will be based on the average salaries of the Entity Police employees and will amount to about 110 BAM more.

Following the procedure, the adopted proposal will be forwarded to the National Assembly of RS for approval.

In this way, the MUPRS continues, as it has been said, to achieve set strategic goals, which imply an improvement of the standards of police officers in the RS in order to equalize with colleagues in the region.
