Pilot and president of the Republika Srpska Mountaineering Association Ljubiša Aramanda and his daughter Andreja died in the plane crash that happened today around 14:50 in the area of Prijedor, Klix.ba reports.

Ljubiša Aramanda was both a gliding instructor and a pilot, he was a mountaineer, a member of the “Klekovača” Mountaineering Society and the president of the RS Mountaineering Association.

“Ljubiša left an indelible mark in the mountaineering community”, it is stated on the “Mountain 2022”

His daughter recently started working in the municipality of Prijedor, and eyewitnesses told the Srpskainfo portal that Aramanda came to the airport with his daughters today.

“He and his older daughter got into the plane to go for a ride. As soon as he took off, he lost control and fell after a few minutes,” said the witness. The second daughter allegedly did not get on the plane.
