Political and economic cooperation between BiH and Qatar is improving

Lagumdzija-ambasador Katara116042013Deputy Chairman of BiH Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija met today in Sarajevo with the ambassador of Qatar to BIH Mubarak Klefekh Khalid Al-Hajri in his farewell visit.

Lagumdžija thanked the ambassador and Qatari officials on their hospitality during the preparations and organisation of the visit of political and economic delegation of BiH to Qatar which was realized in March 2013.

They both expressed satisfaction with the quality of bilateral relations between BiH and Qatar as well as the fact that the recent visit improved and strengthen bilateral relations of two countries. They’ve added that they hope that the visit will give concrete results and that bilateral agreements will be signed and economic cooperation will be established.

Al-Hajri thanked Lagumdžija and BiH on the cooperation, and expressed his satisfaction that he was the first ambassador of Qatar to BiH and that he opened a new page in cooperation of two countries.

He added that he hopes that Qatar will continue with good and intensive cooperation with BiH in all fields in the interest of both countries.

Lagumdžija thanked Al-Hajri on his personal contribution for improving relations between BiH and Qatar and wished him successful continuation of his diplomatic career.
