At today’s session of the Collegium of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, a regular session of this body with 19 items on the agenda was scheduled. Representatives of the opposition in the RSNA raised the question of whether this session would be legal at all, or whether the RS Government was legal.
“I would like to remind you that the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina revoked Milorad Dodik’s mandate as President of the RS, and that he subsequently proposed the mandate to Savo Minic, and that this Government cannot be legal by default. In any case, the decision of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the constitutionality of this Government is awaited – said Ognjen Bodiroga, head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian Democratic Party. He said that at the Collegium session, the MPs did not receive information about the Reform Agenda supported by the RS ministers Staša Košarac and Srđan Amidžić.”
“How is it possible if it was said just a few days ago that they would never support the Reform Agenda,” asked Bodiroga.
His colleague Igor Crnadak, head of the parliamentary group of the Party of Democratic Progress, said that he was informed at the Collegium session that the leadership of the RS National Assembly had sent the RS Government his initiative regarding information on the “Viaduct” case.
“The Government said that they would submit the information to the Collegium session before the session itself, so we’ll see,” added Crnadak.
He reminded that today is exactly 34 years since the existence of the RS National Assembly, and that a “shadow has been cast over it”.
“Last Saturday they annulled their laws, and tomorrow a referendum was supposed to be held precisely on the basis of the RS National Assembly’s decision. Is it normal for the RS National Assembly leadership to remain silent about this,” Bodiroga stressed.
Nebojša Vukanović, head of the Justice and Order parliamentary list, said that on this day, the 34th anniversary of the RS National Assembly, he does not see a delegation from the Russian Duma, but “expects representatives of the Croatian Parliament in Banja Luka”.
When asked how he would comment on the new movement of Draško Stanivuković, Igor Radojičić and Dejan Kojić, a former DEMOS official, Vukanović said that he had parted ways with Stanivuković even earlier.
He is convinced that the role of Draško Stanivuković is identical to that of Obren Petrović, a former SDS official and mayor of Doboj, “who eventually joined Dodik and helped him stay in power”.
