politicians-2017Political scene in Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed the end of the old year and the new year 2017 in a fight, but with the EU Questionnaire in hands, together with many wishes for the future.

“May the year 2017 be peaceful, happy, and prosperous for all of us,” said the President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović.

“I wish you all happiness and professional success,” added Fahrudin Radončić, President of the Alliance for Better Future (SBB).

President of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Nermin Nikšić wished all citizens a lot of happiness and health.

President of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) Dragan Čović also wished a happy new year.

Whether or not 2017 will be successful depends on those who won the authority. “There is a lot of work ahead of us”, said Čović, adding: “Along with the answers to the already delivered EU Questionnaire, I am sure that by the end of 2017 we will obtain the candidate status for membership in the EU and activate the Membership Action Plan for NATO.”

Coalition in the FBiH is in a standstill, but it is also a representation of political love out of interest. They say that they will survive the 2017.

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik even sang during some of his performances in 2016. Through songs, he sent messages, and there was one particular message he sent to the opposition: “No one can do us any harm, we are stronger than fate”.

Among all new year expectations, Dodik presented the five-year vision of Republika Srpska.

“I see it powerful, strong, democratic, independent, and as an important factor in the region,” said Dodik.

All of them agree on one thing – EU integration of BiH.
