The organization Pomozi.ba has transferred 1.134.500.00 BAM to 70 families from flood-affected areas. This is only the first phase, with additional agreements underway.

“We are talking about extensive work behind us, where we visited each family multiple times, assessed conditions on the ground, determined damages to properties, then signed contracts and simultaneously verified the signatures of donation recipients,” Pomozi.ba reported.

They explained that in this phase, priority was given to families who had suffered fatalities, i.e. lost their loved ones in this tragedy, followed by several families whose homes were completely destroyed, and families with partial damage, such as46 families from the Fojnica area, for whom, in most cases, the donations fully covered the damages.

The next phase is already in progress, focusing on other families whose homes were entirely destroyed.

Next week, a press conference is scheduled where the Pomozi.ba organization will inform the public about further steps in aiding those affected by the devastating floods in our country.
