Positive Business Story: Shoes Factory Bema Realized Export of 12 Million BAM

bemaShoes factory Bema from Banja Luka has realized export of 12 million BAM in 2014, says Marinko Umičević, technical director of this company.

He reminded that Bema is doing lon-jobs for renowned world companies, such as Paul Gree, Richter, Lowa, Rohde, Fidelio, Adidas, and also produces high fashion and children’s footwear, trekking and home program.

”Beside the production for foreign markets, in 2014 Bema has also produced the footwear for Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska”, said Umičević.

He stated that Bema concluded this year successfully, fulfilling all duties and obligations toward society, workers and suppliers.

According to his statements, Bema produces 8.000 to 10.000 pairs of shoes daily, and 128.600 monthly.

”We are socially responsible company, which donated 2.000 pairs of shoes in the last year for humanitarian purposes”, said Umičević.

He also said that Bema employs 1.250 employees in Banja Luka and Mrkonjić Grad.
