Today, the Assembly of the Tuzla Canton adopted an initiative by which mothers in this canton will have a monthly fee of 1000 BAM, and will thus be equal with mothers in the Sarajevo Canton.

The initiative was proposed by the Club of the Democratic Front in the TC Assembly, and this information was confirmed on his Facebook profile by Mahir Mesalic, president of the DF Club in the TC Assembly.

“On this occasion, I would like to express my satisfaction with the unanimously adopted initiative I proposed on behalf of the DF Club, by which Tuzla Canton equates the amount of compensation for mothers after childbirth with mothers giving birth from Sarajevo Canton. With this initiative, our mothers will also receive the amount of one thousand convertible marks (1000 BAM) in a period of one year (12 months) after giving birth. The initiative also applies to mothers who give birth, regardless of whether they are employed or not! “, announced Mesalic.
