An ambulance team from Sarajevo helped a woman to give birth in her apartment during a coronavirus pandemic in our country.

They shared this good news on the official Canton Sarajevo Ambulance Facebook page.

“Although we remained on the front lines of defense at a time when the virus pandemic and all our facilities were at the service of protecting and preserving your health, our primary task remained to provide emergency medical assistance to critically ill patients. One of these calls made us especially beautiful this April 1st. Namely, at the invitation of our fellow citizen, and with the prompt and professional intervention of team in the maternity apartment, a live and healthy newborn baby was brought to the world,” is said in a statement.
