The film audience from BiH already knows that, traditionally, Pravo Ljudski Film Festival brings the most significant works that represent the culture of the documentary and cinematography of human rights in Sarajevo.
The 11th edition of the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival will be held from 9th to 14th November at four locations in Sarajevo and 90 films will be showed.
This year’s festival explores the concept of home and belonging, at the time when these two categories are losing their clear meaning in the world. This issue has been discussed at last year’s festival.
Besides films, the audience and the participants of the festival will have the opportunity to attend the scientific conference dedicated to film education in primary and secondary schools, and participation of around a hundred teachers from all over BiH has also been announced.
Entrance to all screenings is free of charge on all festival locations, including: Meeting Point, Kriterion. Ars Aevi and Duplex gallery.
The idea of the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival is that, besides promoting individual rights and freedom and equality of all segments of society; it also emphasizes the need for public dialogue through active involvement and raising voice in articulating positions on social issues and problems vital for the respect of human rights in general.
