Several days ago, the rapper from Zenica Jasmin Alic Bigga and the BH champion in 800 meters Amel Tuka shot the video for the song ”Speed”, which can be found at Alic’s new album “Radiant”. The audience could watch the premiere of the video at the web portal Klix.ba.
Jasmin Alic Bigga is the fastest rapper in the Balkans. A little over a year ago, he proposed to Amel Tuka to join their speeds and shoot the video for the song “Speed”, which can be found on Bigga’s latest album “Radiant” which will premiere on August 25th this year. Alic stressed that the cooperation and the realization time came in the right moment.
“Already last year Amel and I had an idea to make a video together, but it was only now that we both found time to do it and, the way things are, the timing could not have been better. We had a lot of fun at the shooting, and we had a very serious approach to this project that would not proceed properly without the EPIC Creative Cinematography team”, said Alic.
Alic added that he did not want to leave matters to chance and ask Tuka to run additionally prior to the World Championships, so Tuka played the role of the trainer in the video.
“In addition to all his trainings and obligations, Amel set time aside to complete the video, and he also took his role of the trainer in the video very seriously. When it comes to the idea for the video, somehow I knew in the subconscious mind what everyone expects from the video, after it was announced that I, as the fastest rapper, and Tuka, as the fastest athlete, cooperate. That is why I decided to make this video the exact opposite of what everyone expects, therefore Amel is not the one running and training this time, it is me. Through all this, the song and my technique of fast rapping symbolically came into full splendor”, Alic added.
The video was made by Jasmin Pivic and Dino Sehic from Zenica, who have been cooperating with Alic for several years now. They have also participated in the Jameson Empire Done in 60 Seconds competition, which was held last year in London, with their short film “Prestige”.
In the end, Alic said he is satisfied with the final video which was premiered last night on Klix.ba, and he wished luck to Amel in the further qualifications at the World Championships in Beijing.
