The World Bank will present the fifth in a series of publications on the recent economic developments in Southeast Europe (SEE6: Albania, B&H, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia). This edition of the report talks about the phenomenon of economic recovery led by exports and risks to sustainable growth, including continued fiscal deficit, inefficient java spending and a poor business climate in some countries.
Information will focus on the main findings of the new report, which analyzes economic trends in six countries in Southeast Europe.
The report will be presented in Tirana by Gallina Andranova Vincelette, chief economist of the World Bank for the region of Europe and Central Asia and the co-author of SEE RER. After the regional presentation, Simon Davis, economist of the World Bank responsible for B&H, summarizes the issues raised in the report that are of particular importance for B&H.
A video connection will be established in all offices of the World Bank in SEE6 countries, so that next to Galline Andranove Vincelette, economists of the World Bank will be at the disposal for SEE6 countries on issues in their respective cities.
The presentation of the report of the World Bank ‘Regular Economic Report for Southeast Europe’ will be held in the office of the World Bank on Monday, 9 December at 13:00.
