Presidency approves Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between BiH and Azerbaijan

Today, at an extraordinary session, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina approved the signing of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Also, the Presidency approved the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the European Union and the Kingdom of Spain in order to deepen cooperation in the field of European integration.

The BiH Presidency made decisions on accepting a number of other contracts and agreements:

– Agreement on financing between Bosnia and Herzegovina (in Republika Srpska) and the European Investment Bank (Banja Luka Medical Complex Project), European Fund for Sustainable Development;

– Grant Agreement (Visoko Water Supply Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which refers to an investment grant from the European Joint Fund for the Western Balkans;

– Agreement on financing between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank (Sarajevo Urban Transportation Project);

– Loan agreement – Project for the construction of the section Nemila – Donja Gračanica on the Corridor Vc (Zenica north) between the OPEC Fund for International Development and Bosnia and Herzegovina;

– Loan Agreement (Corridor Vc – Mostar North – Mostar South Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Grant Agreement (Corridor Vc Project in Republika Srpska – Doboj bypass project – subsection: Rudanka – Putnikovo Brdo) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which refers to an investment grant from the European Common Fund for the Western Balkans program;

– Grant agreement (Corridor Vc project in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Doboj bypass project – subsection: Putnikovo Brdo – Medakovo) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which refers to an investment grant from the European Joint Fund for Western Balkans

At today’s session, the BiH Presidency made decisions on ratification:

– Loan Agreement (Public Transport Sarajevo e-Mobility) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Agreement on cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Judicial Administration of Norway, which refers to the financing of projects for the benefit of the judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina;

– Amendment No. 3 to the Financing Agreement concluded between the European Investment Bank, Bosnia and Herzegovina (in Republika Srpska) – Water supply and sewerage project;

– Amendment No. 4 to the Financing Agreement concluded between the European Investment Bank, Bosnia and Herzegovina (the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) – Water supply and sewerage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

– Amendment no. 1 on the Financing Agreement for the Modernization of the Roads of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina concluded between the European Investment Bank and Bosnia and Herzegovina;

– Amendment no. 2 on the Financing Agreement concluded between Bosnia and Herzegovina (in Republika Srpska) and the European Investment Bank – Hospital Project in Republika Srpska;

– Amendments to the Framework Agreement on a loan for the regional water supply project “Blue Water” concluded between the Development Bank of the Council of Europe and Bosnia and Herzegovina;

– Loan agreement (Agricultural Resilience and Competitiveness Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Loan Agreement (Health Systems Improvement Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Loan Agreement (Water and Sanitary Services Modernization Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Agreement on a grant for a trust fund of one donor for the Project of modernization of the water and sanitation sector for Bosnia and Herzegovina between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand on the abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and official passports;

– Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the income-generating activities of dependent staff members of diplomatic missions and consular missions;

– Agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union on the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Creative Europe program of the European Union for the cultural and creative sector;

– Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republic of Serbia on the method of financing and preparation of project-technical documentation, management of administrative procedures for environmental impact assessment, issuance of location conditions, consents and construction permits for the project “Hydrotechnical and dredging works on the development of the critical sector for navigation – the confluence of the Drina and the Sava Rivers”;

– Loan Agreement – (Tram line Ilidža – Hrasnica) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

– Agreement on financing the annual action program for Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2021, between the European Union represented by the European Commission and Bosnia and Herzegovina represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
