During his visit, President Agius will meet with a number of high-level officials of the Croatian government, as well as representatives of the highest courts in Croatia. The topics to be discussed will include the current activities and priorities of the Mechanism, the importance of regional cooperation on war crimes issues, the possible establishment of an Information Centre on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and other matters of mutual interest.

This visit, originally scheduled to take place in April 2020, will be the President’s first visit to the region of the former Yugoslavia since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
