President of Republika Srpska announced the First Moves

The president of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik said that the RS will not support projects in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) until the projects of the RS that have been stopped without, as he states, ”any legal and constitutional basis”, are unblocked.

”The RS will block until the RS projects are unblocked, the others will not pass, that is known,” Dodik stated.

According to him, the institutions of BiH should ”serve the goals of both entities”.

”RS has not blocked a single project in the FBiH until now, which has been done to the RS from the BiH level. This practice will no longer be tolerated, given that important projects in the RS have been blocked for years,” Dodik added.

He noted that the projects ”Buk Bijela”, the airport in Trebinje, and the gas connection, which could have been completed a long time ago, have been stopped without, as he claims, any legal and constitutional basis and have been on hold for seven years.

”It has been on hold for seven years in various structures, and I used all of my Presidency sessions last year to put gas and the passage under the Drina on the agenda. They won’t explain why they won’t accept it,” he claims.

He said that if the blockades continue, the RS will also block their projects.

”If you don’t give us permission, there will come a time when we won’t even ask you. Do not interfere in the internal affairs of the RS,” Dodik emphasized.

In the end, he concluded that the Member of the BiH Presidency, Zeljka Cvijanovic, ”will not tolerate such whims.”, Klix.ba reports.
