Borut Pahor klix.baIn cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in B&H, JUB Ltd. Sarajevo donated one part of material, actually Jupol color for interior walls and facade material for the reconstruction of a family house of the returnee family Mandžić in Srebrenica, who are socially necessitous and unemployed.

This would help create more humane conditions for living to this nine-member family. The President Borut Pahor on behalf of the Republic of Slovenia and the director Muhidin Hrapović from JUB Ltd. Sarajevo participated in this action.

Joy and Enthusiasm

Members of the Mandžić family could not hide joy and thrill as they saw the additional material, which is to help to make the house habitable, arriving.

‘’We wish we move in, and we will continue later with the children, slowly’’, said this humble family that returned to literally nothing in Srebrenica.

‘’On return we had nothing, we did not know much about what we have a right for or where to look for help. Many returnees are facing similar challenges and they need help’’, they said.

Works are progressing well

The President of Slovenia was interested in the conditions they live in. He visited them and was convinced that the works on the house are going well. He said he was touched with the story of this family. On the other side he admires them, since in spite of everything they have been through, they managed to keep up.

‘’It is truly a pleasure to see a returnee family that manages to make their home functional after such a long period of time’’, concluded Pahor, who himself participated in painting the home of Mandžić family.
