Gojko Vasić oslobodjenje.baThe Director of Police of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Gojko Vasić confirmed today that there is progress in the investigation of the entity’s police in determining persons who participated in the attack on the Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić on July 11th in Potočari near Srebrenica.

He confirmed that around 10 persons were newly identified, for whom it can be surely claimed that they have participated in that attack.

Vasić precised that the investigation of the attack on Vučić is being lead under the supervision of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of RS, and information will be exchanged also with colleagues from B&H and Serbia in order to, as he said, determine who participated in the attempted murder and instigation of the murder of Vučić.

‘’There is progress every day, and we lead all investigations with the prosecutor’’, said Vasić at a press-conference in Banja Luka.

He confirmed that the Police of RS has not yet asked for help of the media in identifying persons who participated in the attack on the Serbian Prime Minister.

Reports against unidentified persons for attempted murder and instigation of the murder of Aleksandar Vučić on July 11th, after the commemoration of the Bosniak victims, have been submitted to the Special Prosecutor’s Office of RS earlier by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS.

After the identity of the attackers is determined, charges will be pressed against the perpetrators.
