Presiding Arbitrator of the Arbitral Tribunal in a visit to BiH

williamsonThe newly appointed Chairman Arbitrator of the Arbitration Tribunal for Brcko Clint Williamson met with high officials in Sarajevo. Among others, he spoke with the Prime Minister of the FBiH Fadil Novalic and Arbitrator for Brcko appointed by the FBiH, Cazim Sadikovic.

During the three-day visit to BiH, Ambassador Williamson will meet with a large number of people from spheres that are linked to the implementation of the arbitration decision. He will meet today with the Mayor of Brcko District Sinisa Milic and Deputy Mayor Anto Domic, as well as with the Chairman of the District Assembly Asad Kadric and his deputy Ivo Filipovic.

Williamson will also attend the celebration of the 17th anniversary of the establishment of Brcko District, and he will meet with Arbitrator for Brcko appointed by the RS, Sinisa Karan.

President of the International Court of Justice appointed Ambassador Williamson, who has a lot of experience when it comes to the situation in the Western Balkans, on his current position on the 13th of January in accordance with Annex 2 of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Williamson inherited Roberts B. Owen, who served as the presiding arbitrator of the establishment of the Tribunal until his death last year in March.
