US President Donald Trump today repeated his threat to destroy Iran’s energy infrastructure in the absence of an agreement to end the conflict in the Middle East.
“I could destroy Iran in a day. I could destroy it in an hour,” the US president said on Fox News.
Trump added that he would target “all the energy infrastructure, all the factories, all the power plants, which is significant.”
US-Iran ceasefire talks, which the two countries were holding in Pakistan, ended last night without a concrete solution and an answer to the question of what will happen after the originally agreed 14-day ceasefire expires.
