Presiding member of the Presidency of B&H Nebojša Radmanović welcomed the Ambassador of France Roland Gilles

During this visit of the Ambassador of France, Radmanović and Gilles talked about bilateral relations of B&H and France, the current political situation in B&H and the process of Euro- Atlantic intergrations. Ambassador Gilles informed Radmanović about the French initiative to organize the European ceremony of marking the 100th anniversary of the World War I, but also to mark the period of peace in a united Europe. On this occasion, they plan to organize a cultural manifestation also in B&H, where B&H, the EU and other interested countries should participate. Presiding member of the Presidency of B&H Radmanović commended Ambassadors good intentions for the organization of this manifestation and commented on the political sensitivity of organizing such an event.

Ambassador Gilles also informed Radmanović that Cahterine Ashton, the High Representative of the EU for foreign politics and Štefan Füle, the Commissioner for Enlargement, clearly stated the deadline for the implementation of the ”Sejdić-Finci” in a letter addressed to B&H authorities. The deadline for the implementation of the verdict is the end of March 2013.
