kinder chocolateAccording to the announcements of traders, we will be giving more money for the chocolate, sweets, soft drinks, and we will pay for our treats up to 0.50 BAM more. Thus, the prices of most of the chocolates in supermarkets, as announced, will be higher than 2 BAM, juice of half a liter will cost 1.50 BAM etc.

This year is bringing a series of price increases from the very beginning. Therefore, BH citizens from the 1st of January, besides paying more for cigarettes, are paying for basic foods up to 30 fenning more.

At higher prices, and by 20 fenning, from this week we will be paying for chewing gums, which cost 1 BAM for years.

“Bad news for lovers of sweets – prices of chocolate and chocolate products are strongly increasing. Not all, but most of them will be increased. As we do not have chocolate that cost 1 BAM for years, most of them will now be above 2 or 2, 50 BAM,” said a worker at a kiosk in the center of Sarajevo.

She, just like other traders who also confirmed that prices will be increased, could not say what are the reasons for the prices of candies to be increased like that. She just said that they will be a luxury.

In the Association of Consumers of the FBiH are not familiar with the new impositions. Gordana Bulic, the president of the Association of Consumers of Canton Tuzla, reminded that free formation of prices is effective in our country.
