The Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Suad Zeljković issued yesterday an award for the contribution to peace, tolerance and economic development of BiH to the former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohamed Mahatmir, and presented his wife with a gift.
Mahatmir also issued a lifetime recognition award to the rector of the International University in Sarajevo Özer Çinar entitled “Living example and source of inspiration in the domain of education and science of youth in BiH”.
Mahatmir took this opportunity to hold a lecture to those in attendance entitled “Role of education in developing countries’’, announced the Press Office of Sarajevo Canton.
