Princess Charlotte Strikingly Resembles Prince William: Social Media Abuzz with Childhood Comparisons

On the occasion of Princess Charlotte’s 10th birthday, a previously unseen photo of her was traditionally published, and it seems that everyone who saw it had the same conclusion – the resemblance to William is incredible.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a new photo of their daughter on social media on Friday with a brief caption: “Happy 10th birthday Princess Charlotte.”

The young princess was photographed enjoying an outing in nature, wearing a camouflage jacket and a blue backpack.

Shortly after the photo was shared, social media was flooded with comparisons of the princess to Prince William’s appearance at her age.

Namely, by posting side-by-side photos of young William and Princess Charlotte, they highlighted that the resemblance is incredible.

“Kate Middleton’s genes didn’t even try,” joked one user who also compared the appearance of 10-year-old Charlotte with her father at a similar age.

In previous years, Kensington Palace would release new photos of the children before their birthdays, providing them to the media in advance.

However, last year, during Kate’s treatment for an unnamed type of cancer, the Prince and Princess of Wales began sharing birthday photos of their children directly on their social media profiles –starting with Prince Louis’s 6th birthday – a practice they have continued since.
