Production Drive of the AC “Krajina” Open

otvoren-pogon-zz-krajina-u-novoj-topoli_1412619749The assistant of the Minister of agriculture of RS Zoran Kovačević, the mayor of the Municipality of Bosanska Gradiška Zoran Latinović and the director of the agricultural cooperative “Krajina” Goran Matijević solemnly opened the agricultural production drive for sorting and packaging of fruits and vegetables.

The production drive has a surface of 1 200 square meters and cooling capacity of 400 tons, built in the agro-industrial zone in Nova Topola. Five new workers will be employed in the new drive.

“This opening represents a certain rehabilitation of the cooperative sector. Here in the RS government, we try to get back this sector on the track by supporting it as much as we can.” – stated Kovačević.

The mayor of the Municipality of Bosanska Gradiška, Zoran Latinović estimated that this new drive is of great importance for Lijevče polje and Potkozarje.

“Our producers will have less worries because they will know where to place their products. We support this kind of products because it enables new work places.” – stated Latinović.

The director of the AC “Krajina” said that new equipment has been purchased too and the market has been ensured.

“Beside the local wholesale trade and chain stores we will export our products in to the countries of the region and of the EU as well. We have the newest technology and the standard.” – said Matijević.

Numerous partners, representatives of the Cooperative’s federation of RS, the Trade chamber of RS and partners from Slovenia and other countries attended the opening.
