Production of Parts for World-famous vehicle brand ”Tesla” to begin in Bosnia

In the German factory ”Pass”, which operates in Semberija and manufactures flexible pipes for the flow of liquids of various profiles, which are installed in several types of cars of renowned manufacturers, these parts should also begin to be made for the world-famous vehicle brand ”Tesla”.

This was confirmed by Rado Maletic, the director of this factory, adding that it will also lead to the creation of new jobs.

”We make parts for big brands for the flow of various types of liquids and it all goes under the hood. We make various tubes, everything that can withstand high temperatures. ”Tesla” has already come to Germany and ”Pass” has been given space to compete, i.e. to make certain products for ”Tesla”. Those parts, that is, individual products, which ”Pass” produces in large quantities, would come to Bijeljina and there would be an increase and expansion of the existing production, which would also bring new jobs,” Maletic stated.

The mayor of Bijeljina Ljubisa Petrovic also recalled that in this city they already have the company ”Pass”, which produces car parts for the foreign market and achieves significant business success in that area, so they hope that the announcements about the expansion of the production sector will come true.

Milica Markovic, director of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), says that there is no official information about the story regarding ”Tesla”, but she is happy if it comes true.

”This certainly means an expansion of capacity and is a good story from the point of view of new jobs. We have good cooperation with the ”Pass” factory, we run them as a positive example of foreign investments in our country. Bijeljina even has some advantages that other cities in BiH do not have, it is close to the border with the European Union (EU) and close to Serbia, it is a crossroad. Bijeljina, as a city in the plains, has a lot to offer, and it will also have a highway, which will be an even greater advantage since road infrastructure is very important for foreign investors,” Markovic pointed out, Biznis Info reports.
