spahic-besim‘’Even though I know a lot about politics and political marketing, I am not a man for politics’’, said Professor Besim Spahić to Fena, professor at the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo, after his name was mentioned in the Plenum of the citizens of Tuzla in the context of a candidate for a mandatory of the government of Sarajevo Canton.

Last night at the Plenum, participant Zvonimir Bošnjak said that it would be best to make a list of candidates, and if ‘’Besim Spahić accepts this, I believe that he would lead us in the right direction’’.

Professor Spahić, however, said that he never wanted to be engaged in politics, and expressed doubt that ‘’in all these circumstances, in such a system, regardless of who you bring, you would not be able to do anything’’.

He said that he heard about this through the media and from friends, and thanked the citizens for their trust.

‘’Citizens do not know what to do, so they think that a ‘messiah’ will come and will promise something, and it is easiest to promise’’, said Professor Spahić.
