Prominent BiH Actor Haris Burina passed away

Prominent Bosnian actor Haris Burina died at the age of 62.

Burina was previously diagnosed with cancer, and he died last night in the Zenica Cantonal Hospital.

He was known for his roles in film, television and theater.

Born on February 2, 1963 in Zenica, Burina began his career after enrolling at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. Already during his studies, he distinguished himself with his talent, achieving notable roles in theater and film.

He spent several years in France, where he founded the theater “La Fenêtre” and created the play “Birds of Sarajevo”.

After returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burina continued his work in film, television and theater. His roles in the films ‘Go West’ by director Ahmed Imamović and ‘Nafaka’ by director Jasmin Duraković, as well as in the popular television series ‘Lud, zbunjen, normalan,’ stood out.

Burina was loved and respected by the audience and colleagues and will be remembered for his outstanding acting achievements. His death leaves a void in the BiH art scene, BHRT writes.
