The Sarajevo Open Center, Foundation CURE and the Center for Empirical Studies in Religion in B&H is organizing the promotion of a book by dr. Zlatiborka Popov Momčinović called ‘Women’s Movement in B&H: Articulation of One Counterculture’ on Monday, 30 December at 12:00 in Hotel Europe.
The book is the result of research on the topic of how the women’s movement in B&H formed, when women in B&H began to raise their voice against discrimination and unequal opportunities in large numbers. In this study, it can be seen how social ideologies compelled women to begin to act and work on positive social changes, which makes the power of the women’s movement in B&H stronger, regardless of the time in which they lived and acted.
