Promotion of Bosnian cinematography in Florence

The Association of filmmakers of B&H will be representing Bosnian cinematography in Florence from the 26th till 30th November 2012.

The Association of filmmakers of B&H will present its achievements within the project called Balkan Florence Express and in the collaboration with the Italian organization ”Oxfam”. The Festival will present the most significant films made on the Balkans during past several years.

The program of the Festival contains 20 feature and documentary films from Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The films selected for the festival mostly reflect the current state of the countries they come from.

The co-organizers of this project are besides the Association of filmmakers of B&H, the Montenegro ”Kinoteka”, PriFilmFestival from Kosovo, Cinedays from Macedonia, ”Restart” and the Croatian National Archives, Tirana Film Festival from Albania, FreeZineFestival and ”Dokukino” from Serbia.

B&H films listed in the program are:  ”Years that were eaten by Lions” ( Godine koje su pojeli lavovi) by Bora Kontić, ”Village without women” ( Selo bez žena) by  Srđan Šarenac, ”Belvedere” by Ahmed Imamović, ”Snow” ( Snijeg)  by Aida Begić, and ”Sevdah” by Marina Andree in the coproduction of B&H and Croatia.
