Bosniak Cultural Community ‘‘Preporod’’ is organizing a promotion of a book by Ervin Jahić ” Zašto tone Venecija” at the Kamerni teatar 55. The promotion is scheduled on the 11th of January. The president of the Bosniak Cultural Community Senadin Lavić and Senad Nanić will give an opening speech at the promotion. Sanjin Kodrić, Mirsad Kunić, Muris Bajramović, academic writer Tonko Maroević and Faris Nanić will discuss the book.
Besides the promotion of the book, the audience will also enjoy a peotry session, within which authors cited in the book will read their poetry. Those are Abdulah Sidran, Kemal Mahmutefendić, Zilhad Ključanin, Admiral Mahić, Džemaludin Latić, Sead Begović, Hadžem Hajdarević, Irfan Horozović, Mujo Musagić, Husein Hasković, Asmir Kujović, Senadin Musabegović, Fuad Kovač, Damir Uzunović, Ahmed Burić, Muharem Bazdulj, Ajla Terzić, Adisa Bašić and Faruk Šehić.
The book was published by the Zagreb “Preporod”. This book is a trans-generation review of new Bosniak poetry in general. Ervin Jahić, the author of this book is a prominent poet, critic, editor and anthologist. This impressive edition offers texts by 76 poets and poetesses from B&H, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Europe and the rest of the world. The publication encompasses six or seven generations of Bosniak poetry and ‘‘poetry schools”, orientation, and tendencies.
