Proposed one-month Detention for those arrested in the “Incitat” Operation

The acting prosecutor of the Canton Sarajevo Prosecutor’s Office suggested to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo that the suspects Ibro Berilo, Nađa Milišić, Adis Mulaosmanović and Edina Džigal be detained for one month.

Their detention was proposed due to the risk of influencing witnesses, concealment of evidence, the risk of repeating the criminal offense while in relation to Berilo and Milišić, and because of the risk that the public could be disturbed by their release.

Ibro Berilo (Trnovo Municipality Mayor), Nađa Milišić, Nermin Demirović (former director of Sarajevo Forestry), Adis Mulaosmanović (Lok-pil d.o.o.) and Edina Džigal were arrested on Monday in the operation codenamed “Incitat”. They are charged with conspiring to commit criminal acts, namely abuse of position or authority and money laundering. It is a case of systemic corruption in the construction sector and money laundering.

Action “Incite” by SIPA members was carried out by order and under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the CS Prosecutor’s Office, in cooperation with members of the CS MUP, OSA BiH and the CS Anti-Corruption Office.
